About Me

I started this blog because I was inspired after attending a seminar a few weeks ago . The seminar brought some light on the poor eating habits I have adopted over the many years. It made me look deeper at my own eating habits and I realized that I needed to change it quickly. My friends  know me as the Queen of junk food, my breakfast sometimes consists of red mango, zoomers and anything like that.

There are so many foods that are highly processed and have no type of nutritional value also are filled of sugars. Since I noticed that even though I may not have the best eating habits, my snacks were my weakest spot. The craziness of the everyday life, juggling school and work is not an easy task which resulted in me eating the types of snacks I consumed.

After deciding that I needed a change I began to replace my snacks with lots of fruit  and veggies,also I created my own recipes to better satisfy my cravings and enhancing some of the traditional snacks we all know and love, making them much healthier but just as delicious.

The Nibble Nook documents my quest to develop healthier snack options and have some fun while doing it. These snacks that I have created have proven to be a  winner especially among my friends. I am currently a student pursuing my MBA and these snacks have not only helped me through my late nite completion of my assignments but gave me the energy i needed.

  3. That sugar rush always helps keep u pumping late at night when assignments are due but I cannot endulge the way u do. Breakfast is very important to me. Will try out some of these recipes fuh sure.
